After strikes upon Italy during Turn 11, Italy was furious, he was hoping to take back Genoa from the Czech. He ordered a massive aggressive invasion of the area, thinking it would've been protected only by couple thousands of Czech troops, whilst in fact, Czechia and his allies sent 77m troops to defend the area.

As the Allies sent more and more troops to defend the area, they began to dig in. During that time, Italy started marching towards the area with an army of about 15m-24.7m troops.
